Labadee is nestled on the island of Haiti and is the ultimate private destination for cruise vacationers. Adventure, exploration, and relaxation are just the beginning of what Labadee activities have to offer families and couples.
Christopher Columbus was the first European to set foot on this spectacular the peninsula in 1492 when the Santa Maria ran aground off the coast on Christmas Day.
Five centuries later, Royal Caribbean has transformed this secluded paradise into Labadee, a tropical retreat, and playground created exclusively for its guests.
Behind the breezy island, charm is a rich and colorful swashbuckling past. Nellie’s Beach is named for the Englishwoman who, legend has it, arrived at the time of the Buccaneers and set up a trading post and tavern to serve visiting ships and their crews.
The Old Bell Tower was erected to herald their arrival. Although the bell has been lost to history, the tower still stands today.
Begin your day with a leisurely walk or a tram ride to explore the bountiful beaches. Once you have found the perfect spot, get a floating beach mat to enjoy the warm water or simply just relax among the palms on a lounge chair while enjoying your favorite cocktail from a beach bar waiter. We also have several beach escapes available through excursions. Time to feel the sand between your toes!
Zipline – Dragon’s Breath Flight Line
Start your day with a bird’s eye view of the resort’s beaches, activities and everything the island has to offer.
This zipline adventure is so exciting many guests want this unique experience on Labadee and something that really stands out as exhilarating and memorable. I believe the Dragon’s Breath Flight Line is worth trying, especially if you watch a few other guests go down it while you are on the beach and think it looks like fun.
