Description This adventure takes you deep in the Amazon jungle and to the city of Rio de Janeiro. Travel from Manaus to your selected lodge in the jungle. There are different activities each day at each lodge. Some of them are Meeting of the Waters, which is a lunch at a floating Island in the Amazon River, a visit to a native community, trek on the rainforests, a canoe ride in search of alligators and others. Travel to Rio de Janeiro to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches with the backdrop of the mountain surrounding the city. The itinerary is as follows: |

| DAY 1 | Arrive in Manaus, Brazil | Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is free to explore on your own. |

Leaving Manaus, travel to your jungle accommodations. Amazon Ecopark. Take a full day “Meeting of the Waters” tour. Stop for lunch at a floating restaurant. (B,L,D) Ariau Amazon Jungle Towers. Travel by boat to your treetop lodge. On arrival, take a tour of the lodge, then visit a native community. (B,L,D) Anavilhanas Lodge.Journey by road then boat, arriving in time for lunch. Later head out for a guided boat tour. Tonight, board a canoe and search for alligators along the river bank. (B,L,D) |

Ecopark. Learn about the flora and fauna of the rainforest on a morning trek. This afternoon, visit a local family. After dark, head out for alligator spotting. (B,L,D) Ariau. A full day at leisure to explore the rainforest. There are many options to choose from. Tonight, take an exciting trip to look for alligators. (B,L,D) Anavilhanas. Take a rainforest walk with a naturalist this morning, then head out on to the river to look for wildlife including the pink dolphin. (B,L,D) |
| DAY 4 | Amazon Jungle / Manaus / Rio de Janeiro | After an early morning tour return to Manaus airport for your flight to Rio (flight must depart after 1:00 p.m.). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (B) |

Take your choice of included tour. (B) Sugar Loaf. This tour takes you past Copacabana and Ipanema, tow of the most famous beaches in the world. Then ride a cable car up Sugar Loaf Mountain. – OR – Corcovado. Tour through the fashionable Barra District. Corcovado Mountain is next, with its giant statue of Christ. Also, see 200,000 seat Maracana Stadium. |
